Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan tantangan global yang dihadapi dalam bidang kesehatan dan telah direspons oleh Pemerintah Indonesia melalui program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). Namun, kepatuhan berobat pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 tetap menjadi isu kritis meskipun upaya yang dilakukan oleh JKN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperdalam pemahaman tentang fenomena kepatuhan berobat pada pasien dengan diabetes melitus tipe 2 di bawah skema JKN melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen terkait selama periode Juni hingga Desember 2022. Penelitian ini melibatkan 40 partisipan di tiga puskesmas di Kota Bogor. Data dikumpulkan melalui proses one on one interview dan FGD, dihasilkan data berupa verbatim dan dilakukan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini telah memperoleh izin dari Komite Etik FK UI. Kepatuhan berobat tetap menjadi masalah utama dalam pengelolaan penyakit ini yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti pemahaman yang kurang, kendala akses, dan masalah sosial ekonomi. JKN diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akses pelayanan kesehatan dan obat-obatan, serta meningkatkan edukasi pasien untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan berobat. Meskipun demikian, implementasi JKN juga memiliki kendala seperti layanan yang kurang memuaskan dan prosedur yang panjang. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting dalam pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pengobatan bagi pasien diabetes di bawah JKN melalui peningkatan edukasi pasien dan penanganan kendala ekonomi. Perbaikan dalam layanan dan edukasi pasien masih diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan berobat dalam konteks program JKN.
