Abstract

Akreditasi merupakan strategi tertua dan paling umum digunakan sebagai alat penilaian kualitas eksternal dalam perawatan kesehatan. Bertujuan memfasilitasi perubahan organisasi, meningkatkan kualitas layanan, dan berusaha membuat pelayanan rumah sakit memiliki standar Namun, kewajiban akreditasi ataupun re-akreditasi membuat membuat beberapa pelayanan kepada pasien sangat rawan terganggu. Oleh karena itu, tujuan tinjauan sistematis ini adalah untuk memberikan analisis kualitatif tentang pengaruh program akreditasi rumah sakit terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan dengan indicator angka kematian, lama rawat inap, dan kunjungan ulang pasien. Tinjauan sistematis ini dilakukan dengan mencari artikel melalui basis data PUBMED dan Google Scholar. Sejak Mei-Juli 2022. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah "Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations"[Mesh] AND “hospitals accreditation” AND “hospitals accreditation AND quality service” AND “hospitals accreditation  AND Quality care” AND “akreditasi rumah sakit DAN kualitas pelayanan”. Terdapat 10 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, 5 artikel menyimpulkan bahwa akreditasi memberikan efek positif dalam peningkatan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit yang ditandai dengan penurunan angka kematian, penurunan lama rawat inap, dan kunjungan ulang dalam 30 hari yang cukup rendah. Namun, 4 artikel menyatakan tidak ada perbedaan antara akreditasi dan kualitas pelayanan. 1 artikel melaporkan angka kematian yang lebih tinggi pada rumah sakit terakreditasi. Akreditasi masih memiliki pengaruh yang postif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pada indicator angka kematian, lama rawat inap, dan kunjungan ulang.
