Abstract

Selama pandemi, sangat penting untuk meningkatkan langkah-langkah keamanan untuk limbah pelayanan kesehatan, atau HCSW, dan untuk selalu mencari cara yang lebih aman untuk menangani dan menyimpan bahan-bahan ini.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis menyeluruh terhadap literatur tentang penanganan limbah medis selama pandemi COVID-19.Penelitian ini didukung oleh kerangka kerja PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews) dan meta-analisis, yang dipilih untuk menjamin presentasi tinjauan sistematis yang menyeluruh dan jelas. Tiga kombinasi kata kunci yang berbeda digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan ini: "pengelolaan limbah padat," "limbah medis," dan "pandemi COVID-19., secara keseluruhan dimasukkan dalam analisis.temuan analisis menunjukkan bahwa pandemi berdampak besar pada pengelolaan dan volume limbah padat rumah sakit, yang pada gilirannya berdampak pada faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan. Penelitian terbaru telah berkonsentrasi pada pengurangan efek ini melalui pengejaran solusi "hijau",seperti menempatkan rencana berkelanjutan ke dalam tindakan, melindungi keanekaragaman hayati, memimpin gaya hidup sadar lingkungan,meningkatkan fasilitas kesehatan, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, dan mengubah pedoman manajemen HCSW.Selain itu, teknologi alternatif telah diselidiki untuk pengolahan yang tepat dari limbah ini dan penggantian bahan yang lebih aman untuk yang berbahaya.Untuk membantu pembuatan rencana yang mengurangi dampak pandemi terhadap masyarakat dan lingkungan, studi ilmiah tambahan tentang hal ini masih diperlukan, terutama di lingkungan Brasil.
