Persepsi Kerentanan Berhubungan dengan Perilaku Patuh terhadap Pengobatan Malaria

Abstract

Persepsi kerentanan individu dapat mempengaruhi perilaku terutama pada pencegahan dan pengobatan malaria. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan persepsi kerentanan dengan perilaku patuh terhadap pengobatan malaria. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Rajabasa Lampung Selatan pada bulan Juni 2023. Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang pernah mengalami malaria dan diduga suspek malaria dari tahun 2021-2023 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 243 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Persepsi kerentanan diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah valid dan reliabel dengan nilai alpha cronbach 0,89-0,97. Kepatuhan diukur menggunakan instrumen Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8 (MMAS-8) versi bahasa Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan persentase dan uji statitik Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar persepsi kerentanan dalam kategori baik (90,5%) dan patuh pada pengobatan malaria (92,6%). Ada hubungan antara persepsi kerentanan dengan perilaku patuh terhadap pengobatan malaria.
