Abstract

Stroke adalah gangguan saraf permanen akibat terganggunya peredaran darah ke otak yang terjadi secara tiba-tiba, progresif, dan cepat, yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan di otak dan menyebabkan rasa sakit yang panjang bagi orang yang mengidapnya yaitu paralisis, sehingga menimbulkan penderita stroke mengalami keterbatasan dalam melakukan aktifitas kesehariannya. Tugas keluarga sebagai caregiver dapat menimbulkan beban  diantaranya adalah permasalahan psikis, beban sosial, fisik, dan finansial. Sehingga perlu adanya strategi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keluarga maupun pengasuh untuk mengurangi beban, tanpa membahayakan kesehatan keluarga. Tidak jarang penderita stroke yang keluar dari rumah sakit dan menemukan diri mereka di rumah tanpa bantuan dan perawatan dari keluarga ataupun pengasuh yang seharusnya. Tujuan daripenelitian ini adalah untuk memahami evidence based  yang efektif terkait strategi koping dalam menurunkan beban keluarga pasien  stroke. Metode yang dipakai dengan melakukan penelusuran literatur menggunakan tinjauan sistematis pada artikel yang diterbitkan mulai tahun 2019-2023. Hasil: Dari hasil penelusuran artikel didapatkan poin penting dalam strategi koping untuk mencegah beban keluarga pasien stroke yaitu rehabilitasi aktif berupa psikosocial support, intervensi psikoedukasi, koping religious serta program pemberdayaan yang berpusat pada keluarga. Penerapan strategi koping yang efektif dan adaptif  dapat mengurangi beban keluarga dalam merawat anggota keluarga yang menderita stroke.
