Hubungan antara Kecemasan Sosial dengan Kecanduan Internet pada Siswa-Siswi SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah prevalensi kecemasan sosial, kecanduan internet serta hubungan kecemasan sosial dengan kecanduan internet pada siswa-siswi SMA Gembala Baik selama pandemi Covid 19. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional, sampel diambil secara total sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah 290 siswa SMA kelas X-XII. Pengumpulan data dengan electronic form. Kuisioner yang digunakan adalah kuisioner IAT (internet Addiction Test) dan LSAS (Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale) yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil analisis Chi-Square menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan antara kecemasan sosial dan kecanduan internet (p=0,010). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah prevalensi kecemasan sosial antara lain; Tidak mengalami kecemasan sosial (21,0%), kecemasan sosial rendah (30,0%), kecemasan sosial moderate (24,1%), kecemasan sosial ‘marked’ (11,7%), kecemasan sosial berat (7,6%), kecemasan sosial sangat berat (5,5%), dan prevalensi kecanduan internet adalah 45 siswa, serta terdapat hubungan antara kecemasan sosial dan kecanduan internet.
