Abstract

Era new normal membawa kebiasaan baru bagi masyarakat, salah satunya adalah memakai masker. Masker respirator partikulat N95 (masker N95) merupakan masker dengan filtrasi tertinggi, namun terdapat beberapa keluhan terkait penggunaannya, salah satunya adalah kesulitan bernapas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan masker N95 terhadap saturasi oksigen (SpO2), frekuensi pernapasan (RR), dan frekuensi nadi (PR). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan one group pre and post test design. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dengan p<0,0001 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil SpO2, RR, dan PR sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan masker N95. Saran bagi tenaga kesehatan dan pembuat kebijakan di Indonesia agar dapat menerapkan jam maksimal penggunaan masker N95 agar tenaga kesehatan terhindar dari penyakit, kecacatan atau ketidaknyamanan yang dapat menjaga kinerja secara optimal.
