Usia Ibu, Riwayat PMDD, dan Risiko Depresi Antenatal: Studi Kasus-Kontrol

Depresi antenatal merupakan salah satu gangguan mental selama kehamilan dan memiliki dampak negatif pada janin dan ibu hamil. Salah satu faktor yang diduga dapat mempengaruhi kejadian depresi antenatal adalah faktor biologis. Untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan usia ibu dan riwayat Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) terhadap kejadian depresi antenatal Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus-kontrol. Responden adalah 58 ibu hamil yang melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan di Puskesmas Jagir dan Tanah Kali Kedinding, Surabaya, pada bulan Mei hingga Juli 2019, dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Usia ibu dan riwayat PMDD adalah variabel independen dan diperoleh melalui kuesioner umum. Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) dengan nilai cut-off 10 digunakan untuk menentukan variabel dependen yaitu depresi antenatal. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu terhadap kejadian depresi antenatal setelah dikontrol oleh variabel riwayat PMDD (OR=0,206; 95% CI 0,054-0,784; p value=0,021) Diperlukan lebih banyak penelitian multi-senter untuk lebih memahami faktor risiko depresi antenatal, dengan desain studi yang berbeda dan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar.
