Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) merupakan salah satu gangguan muskuloskeletal paling umum yang menyebabkan disabilitas secara global. Pendekatan nonfarmakologis seperti senam McKenzie menjadi alternatif yang banyak digunakan dalam penatalaksanaan nyeri punggung bawah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas senam McKenzie dalam menurunkan nyeri pada pasien LBP. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT). Sampel pada penelitian adalah pasien LBP yang terdiri dari 66 responden yang dibagi secara acak (random) ke dalam kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 33 orang. Skala nyeri diukur menggunakan Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS). Analisa data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dant dan Mann Whitney test. Hasil analisis Mann Whitney test diperoleh bahwa p value = 0,000 (p< 0,05). Kesimpulan Senam McKenzie efektif dalam menurunkan skala nyeri pada pasien LBP dan direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan nonfarmakologis untuk manajemen nyeri pada pasien LBP.
