Faktor Risiko Sanitasi terhadap Infeksi Soil-Transmitted Helminth di Pemukiman Lahan Basah

Lingkungan lahan basah erat kaitanya dengan sanitasi lingkungan. Penyakit malaria, demam kuning, demam berdarah, filariasis, encephalitia, dan infeksi Soil Transmitted Helminth dapat terjadi di lingkungan lahan basah. Infeksi soil transmitted helminth merupakan penyakit terkait lingkungan dimana 24% dari populasi penduduk dunia terinfeksi. Prevalensi infeksi soil transmitted helminth di Indonesia berada di rentang 2,5%-62% terutama pada golongan penduduk kurang mampu dengan sanitasi yang buruk. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk menganalisis faktor risiko sanitasi terhadap infeksi soil transmitted helminth di pemukiman lahan basah. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode literature review. Artikel diperoleh dari database Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Directory of Open Access Journals. Seleksi bahan yang dipakai merupakan kajian penting mengenai kejadian infeksi soil transmitted helminth di pemukiman lahan basah. Artikel yang disertakan terbatas pada artikel yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2018-2023. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan total 884 artikel, setelah dilakukan screening didapatkan 6 artikel untuk dianalisis. Faktor risiko sanitasi terhadap infeksi soil transmitted helminth di pemukiman lahan basah dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor risiko sanitasi, antara lain ketersediaan air bersih, pembuangan tinja dan pengelolaan sampah.
