Analisis Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap terhadap Frekuensi Jatuh pada Lansia dengan Obesitas

Lansia sering dikaitkan dengan penyakit degeneratif, hal ini disebabkan karena bertambahnya usia maka kemampuan fisik manusia juga akan semakin menurun yang menyebabkan para lansia mudah mengalami gangguan. Salah satu permasalahan lansia adalah kelebihan berat badan (obesitas). Kelebihan berat badan pada lansia termasuk masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya jatuh. Penting bagi masyarakat khususnya lansia memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik sehingga dapat memahami pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan tubuh agar terhindar dari jatuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap frekuensi jatuh pada lansia dengan obesitas di Kabupaten Gianyar. Penelitian adalah cross-sectional study yang dilakukan pada bulan Agustus tahun 2024 dengan populasi seluruh lansia obesitas di Kabupaten Gianyar yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Dari sejumlah lansia dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, dan didapatkan 305 sampel dengan two stage random sampling. Pengukuran pengetahuan dan sikap menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi chi square untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap frekuensi jatuh pada lansia dengan obesitas Hasil uji korelasi chi square, didapatkan hasil p=0,000 (p<0,05). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap frekuensi jatuh pada lansia dengan obesitas di Kabupaten Gianyar.
