Peningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan Keperawatan Menggunakan Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) : Literatur Review

Pelayanan kesehatan berkembang pesat disertai dengan tuntutan pasien untuk mengakses informasi serta pelayanan yang lebih mudah. Keperawatan sebagai salah satu bagian dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang memiliki kontribusi selama 24 jam seharusnya dapat memberikan pelayanan berkualitas, sehingga diperlukan berbagai metode menggunakan sumber daya yang ada untuk mengefektivitaskan kinerja perawat, salah satunya melalui penggunaan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini menelaah kegunaan personal digital assistant (PDA) guna mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan pelayanan keperawatan. Metode yang digunakan literature review berdasarkan 8 jurnal dengan kriteria inklusi pada tahun 2012-2018. PDA sebagai fasilitator dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan terintegrasi, minimalisasi kesalahan informasi, mengefektifkan waktu pendokumentasian sera pengambilan keputusan, media pembelajaran mahasiswa dan tenaga profesional, dan pengontrol pola makan serta terapi komunikasi bagi pasien. Kekurangan aplikasi ini pada fitur yang mini, sehingga perlu pengembangan lebih baik. Implikasi bagi keperawatan menciptakan komunikasi, kolaborasi dan dokumentasi lebih efektif dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan.
