Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan banyak dampak positif dan negatif terhadap dunia pendidikan, salah satunya adaptasi pembelajaran jarak jauh, sehingga penggunaan layar digital seperti komputer tidak dapat dihindari. Penggunaan komputer lebih dari 2 jam sehari berisiko menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan mata pada pengguna atau disebut dengan Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). Akan tetapi, prevalensi CVS pada mahasiswa saat pembelajaran jarak jauh masih belum diketahui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran prevalensi CVS pada mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif deskriptif. Terdapat 90 mahasiswa keperawatan tingkat I Universitas Bhakti Kencana sebagai responden yang didapatkan melalui teknik one stage cluster sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrument kuesioner CVS dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden mengalami CVS yakni sebanyak 59 mahasiswa (66%) dengan gejala terbanyak berupa mata lelah dan tegang, nyeri kepala, dan mata berair. CVS berisiko menyebabkan komplikasi gangguan mata permanen. Diperlukan penelitian lanjutan mengenai solusi pencegahan CVS, karena penggunaan komputer setiap hari oleh mahasiswa khususnya dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh, tidak dapat dihindari.
