Diabetes Self Management Education dalam Mencegah Risiko Diabetic Foot Ulcer: A Systematic Review

Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit kronis dengan prevalensi cukup tinggi dan komplikasi yang bervariasi, salah satunya adalah diabetic foot ulcer. DFU harus ditangani dan diobati secara cepat dan tepat. Untuk mencegah risiko DFU dengan pemberian Diabetic Self Management Education sebagai tindakan edukasi. Penelitian ini merupakan systematic review menggunakan pedoman ceklist Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Pencarian artikel melalui PuBmed, ProQuest, Ebsco, dan Google Sholar dengan kirteria studi; pasien DM usia >18 tahun;  semua intervensi DSME; semua studi yang membahas risiko DFU outcome; semua jenis studi experimen termasuk Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) dan quasi-experiment; studi dari semua negara yang berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia; dan dipublikasikan sejak tahun 2016-2021. Kualitas studi dinilai meggunakan CASP dan JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Quasi Eskperiment. Semua studi secara jelas membahas penyebab dan efek setiap variabel dalam penelitian; semua studi menunjukkan bahwa peserta yang dimasukkan dalam penelitian bersifat homogen atau tidak ada perbedaan antara responden pada setiap kelompok. Hasil review kami secara keseluruhan mendukung bukti pemberian DSME dalam mencegah terjadinya risiko DFU.
