Abstract

Bencana adalah peristiwa traumatis yang berdampak terhadap  kesehatan fisik dan mental . Dampak terhadap kesehatan mental diantaranya  pasca trauma stress disorder , cemas, stress dan depresi.penatalaksanaan kesehatan mental  sangat penting dilakukan  salah satunya melakukan  Cognitive behavioral therapy   . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas  Cognitive behavioral therapy    terhadap kecemasan pada  penyintas  bencana banjir. Metode penelitian adalah  Quasi experimental pre-post test design with control group” dengan intervensi  Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)   . penelitian ini menggunakan ramdomnisasi, teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan   kriteria inklusi adalah penyintas bencana  berusia 25-60 tahun, tinggal di daerah rawan bencana banjir, riwayat terpapar bencana banjir, dapat membaca menulis, tidak menderita penyakit berat , bersedia menjadi responden.  Total  sampel  126 orang, terbagi menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kontrol.  Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t test, T paired-test dan regresi linear . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan CBT menurunkan kecemasan pada penyintas bencana  (p-value =0,000). Kesimpulan CBT dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada penyintas bencana banjir.
