Abstract

Hipertensi masih menjadi perhatian penting dalam upaya pengendalian tekanan darah demi mencegah komplikasi penyakit lain yang dapat timbul secara mendadak dan mengakibatkan disablitias penderitanya. Salah satu masalah yang sering muncul dalam kasus hipertensi adalah tekanan darah yang tidak stabil dan ketidakpatuhan minum obat menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Hal yang cukup mendorong kepatuhan dari faktor internal individu adalah sikap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sikap dengan kepatuhan minum obat pasien hipertensi di Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dengan 89 sampel dan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berjenis kelamin laki-laki, rerata usia 54,69 tahun, telah menderita hipertensi dengan rerata 7,29 tahun dan berada pada klasifikasi hipertensi derajat 1, serta rerata skor sikap 36,25 dan kepatuhan minum obat 34,56. Uji Pearson’s memperlihatkan adanya korelasi positif kuat yang signifikan antara sikap dan kepatuhan minum obat (r=0,71; p<0,001). Direkomendasikan bagi tenaga kesehatan untuk mengedukasi dan mendukung pasien hipertensi sehingga dapat meningkatkan sikap pentingnya patuh minum obat.
