Abstract

Gangguan muskuloskeletal menjadi penyebab utama kecacatan di dunia. Beberapa masalah muskuloskeletal yang sering terjadi adalah nyeri punggung bawah, osteoartritis, dan fraktur, dimana mayoritas pasien yang mengalami gangguan muskuloskeletal mengakibatkan diantara 20-50 juta lebih mengalami kecacatan yang melibatkan kelemahan maupun kekakuan otot. Salah satu perangkat yang dapat mendukung program rehabilitasi pasien dengan masalah muskuloskeletal yaitu dengan penggunaan perangkat biofeedback pressure. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengeksplorasi efek biofeedback pressure pada kekuatan otot pasien dengan masalah muskuloskeletal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur. Pencarian literatur menggunakan database ClinicalKey Nursing, EMBASE, Proquest, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, dan Taylor&Francis dengan kriteria antara lain: diterbitkan dari tahun 2018-2022, teks lengkap, jenis penelitian RCT dan eksperimen, dan berbahasa inggris. Ditemukan 2868 artikel dari 7 database dan memilih 5 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi untuk dianalisis. Secara umum keseluruhan studi dengan berbagai masalah muskuloskeletal menunjukkan bahwa intervensi biofeedback pressure secara signifikan meningkatkan kekuatan maupun aktivasi otot, sehingga mencegah dan meminimalkan berbagai komplikasi yang ditimbulkan. Selain aktivitas otot, tinjauan ini juga memperoleh manfaat lain dari biofeedback pressure berupa penurunan skor, kecacatan, peningkatan daya tahan, dan gaya lawan otot. Biofeedback pressure terbukti dapat diaplikasikan pada pasien dengan masalah muskuloskeletal untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional.
