Upaya Mengurangi Restraint di Rumah Sakit Jiwa: Literatur Review

Abstract

Penggunaan restraint\masih cukup tinggi dilakukan meskipun dampak negatif restraint bisa mengakibatkan cedera fisik dan psikologis bagi pasien. Restraint digunakan untuk membatasi gerak ekstremitas seseorang yang barrierlike tidak terkontrol dengan maksud untuk memberikan keamanan fisik dan psikologis bagi pasien perilaku kekerasan. untuk mengidentifikasi upaya mengurangi tindakan restraint di rumah sakit jiwa.  metode literatur review digunakan pencarian electronic data base 4 sumber Scopus, Pubmed, ScienceDirect, dan Spingerlink artikel yang diambil dari tahun 2018 sampai tahun 2022, open acces, full text, berbahasa inggris dan sesuai topik dan tujuan. Dari analisa yang dilakukan di temukan 4 upaya yang secara signifikan dapat menurunkan tindakan restraint. 1)Penggunaan Panduan pelatihan restraint  “No Force First”  dapat menurunkan tindakan restraint (17%) nilai (p <0,0001). 2)Pendidikan dan pelatihan restraint menurunkan tindakan restraint secara signifikan dengan (P < 0,001). 3)Menerapkan metode safewards dapat menurunkan tindakan restraint sebesar (4%) nilai (p < 0,001). 4)Restraint reduction program “Restrain Yourself” dapat menurunkan penggunaan restraint sebesar (22%). Dari artikel ini dapat disimpulkan penggunaan panduan pelatihan restraint “No Force First”, pendidikan dan pelatihan restraint,  safewards, restraint reduction program “Restrain Yourself” secara signifikan mengurangi tindakan restraint pada pasien gangguan jiwa di rumah sakit jiwa.
