Abstract

Sebagian besar anak prasekolah mengalami masalah tidur. Praktik sleep hygiene merupakan salah satu intervensi yang direkomendasikan. Pengamatan langsung pada praktik sleep hygiene oleh orang tua dirumah memerlukan dana dan waktu yang lebih dan belum dilakukan. Sehingga diperlukan kuesioner untuk menilai intervensi sleep hygiene. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji validitas dan reliabilitas Sleep Hygiene Intervention for Preschoolers (SHIPs). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan kuesioner SHIPs ini adalah Classic Test Theory oleh Nunnaly dan Bernstein. Penentuan valid dan reliabel kuesioner menggunakan nilai r hitung dan Cronbach’s alpha. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada orangtua anak prasekolah sejumlah 57 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 17 dari 28 item pernyataan yang dinyatakan valid dengan nilai r hitung (0,266-0,702) lebih besar dari r tabel (0,261)dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s alpha (0,840) lebih dari 0,70. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dinyatakan kuesioner SHIPs valid dan reliabel.Kuesioner ini dapat digunakan untuk menilai intervensi sleep hygiene yang dilakukan orangtua  pada anak prasekolah.
