Pengaruh Latihan Fisik terhadap Nilai Vo2 Max Atlet Pelatda NTB sebagai Indikator Ketahanan Kardiorespirasi menuju Pon 2021

Kapasitas fisik atlet berupa ketahanan kardiorespirasi merupakan komponen utama sebagai unsur penting keberhasilan dalam prestasi olahraga tidak terkecuali pada event olahraga Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) Papua 2021. Indikator terbaik dari ketahanan kardiorespirasi suatu individu dapat dinilai dari pengambilan oksigen maksimal atau maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). Seorang atlet harus berlatih untuk meningkatkan keahlian, kekuatan, dan ketangguhan diri dengan melakukan latihan yang teratur dan terprogram untuk bersaing dengan atlet lain dalam memenangkan kompetisi, termasuk daya tahan kardiorespirasi yang mumpuni. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan terhadap para atlet yang menjalani Pemusatan Latihan Daerah (Pelatda) Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian praeksperimen dengan rancangan one-group pre-posttest design. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 34 orang atlet dengan rentang usia 19-34 tahun Teknik sampling yang digunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Multi Stage Fitness Test untuk pengukuran VO2max. Pada hasil penelitian dengan uji Wilcoxon didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai VO2max sebelum dan setelah latihan fisik (p< 0.05) dengan nilai VO2max rata-rata sebelum latihan fisik yaitu 48.02 ±5.42 ml/kg/menit dan nilai VO2max setelah latihan fisik yaitu 49.47±5.6 ml/kg/menit. Latihan fisik yang dijalani atlet Pelatda dalam persiapan menuju PON 2021 memberikan hasil yang baik pada ketahanan kardiorespirasi atlet.
